Google seems to define another meaning of employee retention. This is deja vu as I was just watching Game Changers on Bloomberg last night on how Google paved its way up and changed Information Age.
You might have heard that Google offered US$ 100,000 cash as bonuses to its employees. Last week, it was US$ 3.5 million not to join pre-IPO internet sites like LinkedIn, Twitter and the much infamous Facebook. And now, another one was granted US$ 6 million stock from Google itself not to join Facebook.
Much to my belief that in due time, people would start working for IT nerd. Hehe. But I see a problem here, when you start a trend like this, it will be very hard to be stopped.
I know that top three things that employees are motivated to work is through bribery money. When can this be a trend in the Philippines, by the way?
